Operational NOAA Advanced Clear-Sky Processor for Ocean (ACSPO) Level-3 Super-collated (L3S) SSTs for Low Earth Orbit satellites are 0.02° resolution SSTs processed and distributed through NOAA operations. The LEO L3S SST products are a result of combining or collating Level-3 uncollated data from VIIRS and AVHRR sensors to mitigate biases between consecutive overpasses using an adaptive weighting procedure that reduces noise, preserves spatial continuity, and mitigates residual cloud leakages that may be present in individual sensor L3U data (O. Jonasson, I. Gladkova, A. Ignatov, and Y. Kihai, "Progress with development of global gridded super-collated SST products from low Earth orbiting satellites (L3S-LEO) at NOAA," SPIE, vol. 11420, pp. 5-22, 2020). PM and AM products are split into daytime or 'D' (solar zenith angle ≤ 90°) and night-time or 'N' (solar zenith angle > 90°) files. As a result, there are four different files: PM-N, PM-D, AM-N, and AM-D.
