The enterprise Rainfall Estimate algorithm generates Level 2 and Level 3 Instantaneous Rainfall Estimates and Level 3 Global Cumulative Rainfall Estimates products.
The L2 Instantaneous Rainfall Rate product provides a numerical estimate of rainfall rate in millimeters per hour from GOES-19, GOES-18, and Himawari-8/9. The global Level 3 Instantaneous Rainfall product is a mosaic of the L2 products from GOES-R Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI), Himawari Advanced Himawari Imager (AHI), and Meteosat Spinning Enhanced Visible Infra-Red Imager (SEVIRI)."
Level 3 Global Cumulative Rainfall Estimates products include hourly, 3-hourly, and 6-hourly products.
The data format is NetCDF4, data coverage is full disk/global, data frequency is 10 minutes (instantaneous), and resolution is 2km.
