SMOKE: Southern Louisiana… An area of light smoke was observed this evening in southern Louisiana. The area of smoke may also include remnants of smoke from yesterday’s agricultural burning in the region. Kansas… Fires in the Kansas counties of Clay and Riley produced light-to-moderate density smoke that traveled southeast across the state. It appears that the smoke will make its way towards northeastern Oklahoma in the coming hours. AEROSOL/SMOKE: Mexico... An area of light density smoke, consisting of aerosols from industrial activity in central Mexico and smoke emissions from individual fire activities in the region, was observed spreading from the Bay of Campeche to Texas’ Gulf coast and dispersing offshore in the central Gulf.
