An area of light density smoke was seen just offshore coastal areas of the Northeastern United States and extending further offshore into the North Atlantic Ocean. This area of smoke was likely from seasonal fires over much of the Southeastern and South Central United States. Western Gulf of America…. An area of light smoke was seen extending from southeast Louisiana through the northwest Gulf of America into southern Texas and northeast Mexico. This area of smoke was also from the seasonal fires over the Southeastern and South Central United States. Central Washington…. Smoke from the wildfires over central Washington this morning were mostly near the active wildfires. Hanna THIS TEXT PRODUCT IS PRIMARILY INTENDED TO DESCRIBE SIGNIFICANT AREAS OF SMOKE ASSOCIATED WITH ACTIVE FIRES AND SMOKE WHICH HAS BECOME DETACHED FROM THE FIRES AND DRIFTED SOME DISTANCE AWAY FROM THE SOURCE FIRE, TYPICALLY OVER THE COURSE OF ONE OR MORE DAYS. AREAS OF BLOWING DUST ARE ALSO DESCRIBED.
