SMOKE: Alaska/Canada/North-Central United States/Atlantic Ocean... Wildfires continued to burn in eastern Alaska/Yukon, and central Canada, with widespread smoke spread across Alaska that moved east over most of Canada towards the Atlantic and north into the Arctic. Denser smoke concentrated in the southwest Yukon, and from Saskatchewan to Ontario. Western U.S... Wildfires were observed across the western U.S. with denser plumes generating an area of thicker smoke over northern California, Oregon and Idaho. The smoke spread generally to the northeast and merged with smoke from the Canadian fires, and continued toward the Atlantic. DUST: Tropical Atlantic and Caribbean Sea... An area of Saharan dust was observed over the eastern Caribbean and tropical Atlantic.
