SMOKE: Alaska/Canada/Atlantic Ocean... Wildfires continued to burn across northeastern Alaska, and northwestern and central Canada, and widespread smoke dispersed eastward across south Hudson Bay and the Great Lakes region into the northern Atlantic. Denser smoke concentrated around the Northwest Territories and the border of eastern Alberta/western Saskatchewan. Western United States... Several wildfires in northern California, Oregon, Nevada, Utah and Colorado produce moderate-to-thick smoke plumes which spread into a large area of lighter density smoke stretching from the Pacific coast across the mountain states and continued east to merge with the smoke from Alaska and Canada in the central United States and Great Lakes region. Denser smoke concentrated around the four corners of the U.S., and the border of California, Oregon, and Nevada. Mexico… An area of light density smoke was observed flowing from fires along the Yucatan north across the Gulf of America towards the Texas coast.
