SOCC reports the following:
It is necessary to postpone the planned pitch over maneuver on NOAA-14, that was scheduled for 19 July 2006, until further notice. The decision was reached after further analysis on the nitrogen tank pressure readings. The N2 Nitrogen pressure mnemonic started flagging as the sun angle reached its lowest point on the spacecraft a little over 1 week ago. Engineers are reviewing options of possible actions that will address the tank pressure. Some action is necessary regardless of the maneuver. Users can check the NOAA website www.oso.noaa.gov/poesstatus for updates.
