REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The area of possible oil was located approximately 10nm E of the U.S. EEZ and measured 4.0nm in length and up to 0.75nm in width. The area appeared dark in satellite imagery, exhibiting a strong contrast and well-defined edges. It is believed that this anomaly could have been the result of a bilge dump, although a point source could not be identified. Since the area did not widen appreciably with distance, our confidence level was held at Medium. Winds were out of the SW at approximately 10-15kts at the time, which aligned well with some possible feathering features. 

UNCERTAINTIES: The anomaly did not widen with distance and a point source was not identified.
