REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was in the geographic area of a previously reported anomaly pertaining to NRC hotline 10881. The anomaly showed strong contrast against the background environment with some well-defined edges and appeared out of place. The anomaly was long and thin, oriented roughly north to south and measured approximately 2.2 NM long and .1 NM wide. Winds were 10 kts from NE.

UNCERTAINTIES: Confidence was limited to medium-high despite the reported hotline due to the anomaly's proximity to shore and tendency for false positives in the area. The reported winds were also inconclusive, and multiple oil facilities in the area made it difficult to determine a specific point source.
