REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was in the geographic area of a previously reported anomaly pertaining to NRC hotline 10881. It had a strong contrast against the uniform ocean surface surrounding it and stood out of place. It measured approximately 3 nm long and 0.5 nm wide and seemed to align well with SSW winds, which were around 10 kt at the time of the satellite image.

UNCERTAINTIES: The suspected slick was in the area of the aforementioned NRC hotline and surrounded by many oil facilities in Louisiana state waters, so a suspected source could not be determined.
