REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil.  Located 12 nm east of the US EEZ, the anomaly was 19.51 NM in length and 0.44 NM in width at its widest point.  It also had strong contrast with the surrounding water, widen appreciably with distance, and demonstrated signs of feathering along its edges. There were several vessels just north of the anomaly that could possibly be the origin of the slick. Winds at the time of the image were 10 kts from the SE. It is for these reasons that Confidence for this report is High.
