REMARKS: ***THIS IMAGE IS MORE THAN 24 HOURS OLD*** Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick had a distinct contrast to the surrounding environment, had areas of brighter returns, which are indications of thicker oil, and appeared to emanate from several possible oil wells in the Breton Sound area of the Birds Foot Delta. The slick was approximately 6.94nm in total length, and approximately 1.90nm at the widest point. Winds near the time of the image were out of the NW at 8kts.



UNCERTAINTIES: There were numerous oil producing wells within the entirety of the slicks extents. Additionally, no reporting of this spill was identified. These factors limited our confidence to Medium-High for this report.
