REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. This fragmented anomaly was believed to be associated with NRC #1406764. As a whole, the fragments were approximately 9.56 nm long and approx. 0.20 nm wide. The slicks had a white/shimmery center which indicated relatively thicker oil. It was distinguishable from natural phenomena and had a strong contrast against its surroundings. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the NE at 10 kts which aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly.
