REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick extended about 7 NM long by around 0.05 NM wide at its widest point and had very good contrast with its background. Additionally, silvery sheen consistent with thicker oil was present. Finally, the slick was attached to a point source. Winds were out of the S at 15 KT at the time of the image. Considering the above factors, we have HIGH confidence in this assessment.
