REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The fragmented anomaly was believed to be associated with NRC #1401870. As a whole, the fragmented slicks were approximately 2.75 nm long and approx. 2.40 nm wide. A few of the fragments had a white/shimmery center which indicated relatively thicker oil Winds near the time of the image were coming from the E between 10-15 kts. 



UNCERTAINTIES: As for a point source, there were pipelines within the vicinity and also an oil facility further north that also seems to have a suspicious leak. Please refer to the next MPSR 20240615_1629c_SENTINEL2B_OIL for any information regarding the oil facility mentioned.
