REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. A possible oil slick was 14.2 nm long and up to 0.2 nm wide. The slick was associated with a vessel located 4.5 nm east of Fisherman Island National Wildlife Refuge. Winds were estimated to be from the south at 10 kts.

UNCERTAINTIES: The slick widened with distance from the source and had a strong contrast with its surroundings resulting in high confidence that this is a MARPOL event.
