REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick was linear in shape, had a strong contrast to the surrounding environment, showed indications of feathering, which are indications of a possible bilge dump. The slick was approximately 8.60nm in length, and approximately 3.01nm at the widest point. Winds were out of the west between 10-15kts, which aligned with the feathering throughout the entirety of the slicks extent. The slick was approximately 160nm east of the Southern Texas coast.



UNCERTAINTIES: The slick appears bright due to image enhancements. Additionally, no point source could be identified.
