REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick was emanating from a known repeated leak source, Wreck 1487. The anomaly was approximately 1.95 nm in length and 0.04 nm in width. The slick also stood out against the surrounding environment due to its contrast. Winds at the time of the image were approximately 5 kts from the SE.


UNCERTAINTIES: Due to partial cloud cover over the slick and near Wreck 1487, there may be some doubt in the full extent of the slick, as the length of the slick may be longer due to the possibility of it beginning from the repeated leak source.
