REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The linear slick was seen roughly 28.93 nm NE from Miami, FL in U.S. waters and 4.10 nm W of the U.S. EEZ border. It was approximately 4.81 nm long and approx. 0.19 nm wide. The linear dark slick had well defined edges and a strong contrast against its surroundings. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the E between 5-10 kts. which aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly.



UNCERTAINTIES: The slick did not widen appreciably with distance toward one end which led to a Medium confidence.
