Guam 4: Prior to the communications outage, the original anomaly was traced to an intermittent issue with the Pentek card inside the SDR. The vendor replaced the Pentek card and tested the SDR at the TSI office to verify that the intermittent issue had been resolved. Guam 4 had been operating properly for several days before the communications outage while the vendor completed final system checks prior to returning it to service. After communications were restored, the LUT vendor updated the orbit vectors and verified that the system was operating normally.

Details/Specifics of Change: Guam 3 and 4 LEO Ground Stations are not sending pass solution data. The circuit is down due to Super Typhoon Bavi's impact on the Pacific US Territories. Telecom vendor is aware and will have personnel on site once conditions are safe.

Impact: Medium - Western Pacifica US AOR Distress detection/reporting may be delayed. LEOSAR distress alert detection/reporting may be delayed. GEOSAR and MEOSAR are operating nominally.
