NPP will perform a 3.0 wall-clock second propulsive Drag Make-Up Maneuver (DMU)

to maintain Repeating Ground Track box.

The following observatory systems will be affected on March 18, 2026:

 

17:13:00Z – 19:20:04Z  CERES in Contam-Safe mode, science data will not be available

17:23:00Z – 17:50:06Z OMPS in Decon mode, Science data will not be available

17:28:00Z – 17:51:05Z  HRD will be off, data for direct broadcast users will not be available

17:33:00Z – 17:39:03Z NPP in Control Frame 2 (DMU) (Delta-V Control Frame)

17:33:00Z – 17:46:04Z NPP pointing off-nadir, collected data during that time period may be impacted and not disseminated
