Details: Beginning at approximately 17:45 UTC on March 9, 2026, S-NPP science data is unavailable until further notice. Engineering and data system teams are actively working to restore the observational data. Data assessment by Cal/Val teams will subsequently follow to ensure S-NPP products meet mission specifications prior to the restoration of the data flow.
PDA OPS subscriptions for all S-NPP science products were disabled at 17:45 UTC on March 9, 2026. High Rate Data (HRD) was also disabled at 18:10 UTC on March 9, 2026. NOAA-21 and NOAA-20 remain the primary JPSS series spacecraft, and Key Performance Parameters from their instruments continue to be delivered.
