Details/Specifics: On  January 28, 2026 1813Z, NOAA-20 will perform a 3.0 thruster second propulsive Drag Makeup Maneuver (DMU) to maintain Mean Local Time of the Ascending Node while controlling the Repeating Ground Track box.



The following observatory systems will be affected on  January 28, 2026:


1747Z – 2004Z CERES configured to Contam-Safe mode, science data will not be available.



1757Z – 1823:08Z  OMPS in Decon mode, Science data will not be available.


1802Z – 1826:10Z  HRD will be off, data for direct broadcast users will be unavailable.


1807Z – 1820:10Z  N20 pointing off-nadir, collected data during that time period may be impacted and not disseminated.
