Details/Specifics of Change: A GOES-19 ABI Encoder and Fine Track Error (FTE) Calibration will be performed starting on January 15, 2026, at 1530 UTC resulting in two ABI product outages. Products may be degraded between outages.

On Thursday, January 15, 2026, the following schedule will be employed to support GOES-19 ABI Encoder and FTE Calibrations:

1530 UTC - 1600 UTC: GOES-19 ABI Outage

1600 UTC - Approximately 1700 UTC: GOES-19 Routine ABI Operations Resume with potentially degraded products

Approximately 1700 UTC - Approximately 1730 UTC: GOES-19 ABI outage

Approximately 1730 UTC: GOES-19 Routine ABI Operations Resume

Please note: If Critical Weather Day (CWD) is declared before 1530 UTC, the calibration will be postponed.
