Update #4: The GOES ground system continues to experience issues affecting the delivery of GOES-18 Cloud Mask and Derived Motion Winds (DMW) products to NCCF. The same set of NCCF-generated derived products, listed below, remain impacted. To minimize potential outages over the weekend, a manual workaround has been implemented. However, sporadic disruptions may still occur. A technical team is scheduled to begin work on a permanent fix next Monday.
Update #3: Another upstream GOES ABI L2 outage occurred today (November 7, 2025) between ~1510z and ~2000z. This time only GOES-18 data, primarily for the cloud mask and derived motion winds (DMW) products, was affected. The same set of NCCF-generated derived products, as noted below, were impacted. All missed data during this time period is considered lost.
Update #2: As of 1400z on November 7, 2025, the issue has been fully resolved, and all impacted GOES products are now being generated again. However, none of the missed data between ~1950z on November 6, 2025 and 1400z on November 7, 2025 is recoverable.
Update #1: GOES-18 and GOES-19 Cloud Mask, Windbarbs all Bands are available on PDA. However the following derived products are currently missing on NCCF and PDA due to an upstream data issue.· GOES-R Derived Motion Winds BUFR
· GOES-R CSR/ASR and BUFR
· Automated Surface Observation System (ASOS)
· Fog Low Stratus (FLS)
