Details/Specifics of change: On January 24, 2025, NOAA-21 will perform a spacecraft attitude maneuver for the Star Tracker Photo Mode Calibration, keeping star tracker 1 pointed at Harvard Catalog Star 2920. Science data will be impacted while the spacecraft is pointing off-nadir during the attitude maneuver. The timeline of events for this maneuver are provided below.

The following observatory systems will be affected on January 24, 2025:

19:59:07Z – 20:33:10Z X-band RF (HRD) will be turned off
19:59:11Z – 20:30:04Z NOAA-21 will be pointing off-nadir, collected data will be impacted. While it will be processed and delivered, users are advised that data made available during this time window will not meet operational specifications.
