Details/Specifics of Change:
The Avaya Release Management will be turning off Avaya stack VM's on 8.1.x release at Equinix and QTS and turning on newly configured VM's on 10.2 release on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 1300 UTC. Phone systems on the Avaya network at the NOAA Satellite Operations Facility (NSOF) may not be able to receive or make phone calls during the outage period of 1300 to 2300 UTC on September 28, 2024. The total phone outage downtown is expected to be 1 hour less during this period.
Customers will have intermittent loss of phone connectivity and voicemail.
Users that are unable to contact an impacted phone line at NSOF may reach the SOCC Shift Supervisor at 301-817-4198. During this time, the ESPC Help Desk will not be able to make or receive phone calls. Users needing to contact the ESPC Help Desk should do so by email (ESPCOperations@noaa.gov) or by calling the SOCC 301-817-4198.
