Update #4: NPP SMD data flows to IDPS resumed at approximately 16:00 UTC during Fairbanks Rev 63536. NPP SMD will continue to be manually played back at Fairbanks until SMD is verified at Svalbard at approximately Feb 01, 2024 01:00 UTC. Once verified, nominal automatic data playback is expected to resume. Mission Partners are advised to keep subscriptions disabled until continuous and steady data flow is confirmed, and should coordinate with IDPS to resume data flows.
There is an unrecoverable data gap from approx. Jan 30, 2024 23:21 UTC to Jan 31, 16:00 UTC.
Update #3: The NPP SMD X-band transmitter anomaly is still in progress and path forward to be determined. As NPP SMD will not be received until further notice, NDE and NCCF Operation subscriptions will be disabled at 18:00 UTC. Another update will be provided once continuous SMD begins flowing to IDPS and Mission Partners.
Update #2: SMD was not received on SVL Rev 63529 and engineers are still investigating the issue. SMD will not be received until further notice.
Update #1: Experienced same ground system issues on SVL Rev 63528 and, as a result, data recovery was not possible. Data recovery will be attempted again on SVL Rev 63529 pending resolution of ground issues.
