Update #1: The NOAA-21 Cloud Height/Mask/Phase products will be included in this release. The NOAA-21 CrIS BUFR product will be upgraded with cloud information. SNPP/N20/N21 SR products have been available on PDA I&T for testing since Oct. 11, 2023.
Topic: NCCF Product Upgrade 1.13.1 Date/Time Issued: October 31, 2023 1242 UTC Product(s) or Data Impacted: SNPP/N20/N21 VFM, GOES-16/18 AFM, NIC IMS tailored VIIRS imagery, SNPP/N20/N21 Surface Reflectance, N21 Cloud Height/Mask/Phase/COMP/CCL/CBH, N21 CrIS BUFR and SNPP/N20/N21 eFire VIIRS I-Band Date/Time of Initial Impact: October 31, 2023, 1700 UTC Date/Time of Expected End: October 31, 2023, 1800 UTC Length of Outage: 1 hour Details/Specifics of Change: The SNPP/N20/N21 VIIRS Flood Mapping (VFM), GOES-16/18 ABI Flood Mapping (AFM), tailored VIIRS imagery for NIC IMS, SNPP/N20/N21 Surface Reflectance (SR), and N21 Cloud Height/Mask/Phase/COMP/CCL/CBH products are being migrated from on-prem systems to the NESDIS Common Cloud Framework (NCCF). The patches of N21 CrIS BUFR and SNPP/N20/N21 eFire VIIRS I-Band will be promoted for operations. All the products are planned to be declared operational in NCCF and distributed from PDA OPS on October 31, 2023. N21 SR may remain as Beta until Provisional status is reached. The test products are available on PDA I&T now, except for N21 CrIS BUFR with clouds, which will be available on PDA I&T soon. The date will be determined in the next notification update. Users can start subscribing to these data products from PDA I&T. The test data product short names are appended with “_TEST”.
