 Product or Data Impacted: NSOF core switches OS upgrade is planned for Wednesday 6/21 at 2:00 pm local EST. During the upgrade we may experience a brief interruption as traffic failover to the backup core switch. No Impacts expected to NOAA 20, NPP, N21 , DMPS or GCOM W1 SMD or T&C are expected during the updates. 

 

 Date/Time of Initial Impact: June 21, 2023 1800Z (2:00  ET)

 

 Date/Time of Expected End: June 21, 2023 1900Z (3:00 PM ET)

 

Length of the Outage/Event: ~1-2 hours

 

Details/Specifics of Change:  NSOF core switches OS upgrade is planned on Wednesday 6/21 at 2:00 pm local EST. During the OS upgrade there may be brief interruption as traffic failover to the backup core switch, as the JPSS Network team makes the necessary updates. No Impacts expected to NOAA 20, NPP, N21 , DMPS or GCOM W1 SMD or T&C are expected during the updates.
