Update #2: The Continuity of Operations (COOP) / Backup Exercise is still scheduled to begin on June 12, 2023, but with a new start time of 1400 UTC.
Update #1: GOES-R data distribution will continue from the NSOF PDA primary Ops system which is the main interface and no failover is necessary for PDA users during this test.

Product(s) or Data Impacted: All GOES-R data will be distributed from the Consolidated Backup (CBU) facility in Fairmont, WV during the exercise period to those users with authorized CBU data interfaces while DSCOVR data routing remains nominal. During the COOP exercise, processing/distribution will not be impacted as delivery of GOES-R, JPSS, Metop, POES, and other satellite mission data will continue nominally from NSOF during this exercise period unless otherwise announced. GOES-NOP spacecraft operations will be performed from the Wallops CDA location with data and will not be interrupted from the normal expected data paths.
Deployed operations staff will travel on Sunday, June 11th, and will be available to commence Command and Control operations on the morning of Monday, June 12th from their respective backup locations, and will plan to fail back over to NSOF early Thursday morning, June 15th.

Details/Specifics of Change: On Monday, June 12, 2023 the flight operations command and control for GOES-R and DSCOVR will be failed-over to the CBU - the targeted failover time is 1400 UTC. GOES-NOP will be operated from Wallops during the same timeframe. On 15 June, 1200 UTC the flight command and control for the GOES NOP, GOES-R, and DSCOVR will be moved back to the NSOF SOCC.
