Details/Specifics of change:
On May 01, 2023, S-NPP will perform a spacecraft attitude maneuver for the VIIRS Lunar Calibration, with a roll of -3.13 degrees centered at 08:34:18Z. Science data may be impacted while the spacecraft is pointing off-nadir during the attitude maneuver and the CERES instrument will not provide nominal science data as it will be placed in a contamination safe mode. The timeline of events for this maneuver are provided below.
The following observatory systems will be affected on May 01, 2023:
08:09:18Z – 09:11:18Z CERES will be in Contam-Safe and Standby, science data will not be available.
08:24:18Z – 08:46:18Z HRD will be off, data for direct broadcast users will be unavailable.
08:28:48Z – 08:41:47Z VIIRS encoder offset and gain will be set for Moon observation.
