Details/Specifics of Change:
The Key Performance Parameter (KPP) VIIRS imagery and VIIRS SDR/Imagery EDR passthrough products for SNPP and NOAA-20 and NOAA-21 (beta) are being migrated from NDE on-prem to NESDIS Common Cloud Framework (NCCF). These SNPP, NOAA-20 and NOAA-21 products are planned to be declared operational in NCCF on March 30, 2023. The PDA short names and product file names will remain the same during this migration. The test products will be available on PDA I&T. Users can start subscribing to these data products from PDA I&T on March 16, 2023. The test data product short names are appended with “_TEST”.
PDA will perform best efforts to sustain the three satellites (SNPP, NOAA-20 and NOAA-21). However, if the PDA resource capacity reaches the ceiling of maximum, the tertiary satellite data will be dumped from PDA OPS and be distributed to PDA I&T only.
