CORRECTION- Final Update#2: The Hawaii 3 and Hawaii 4 outage was caused by a faulty UPS. Once power was restored the ground stations returned to normal operations at 1753Z, November 01 2022. 


Final Update#2: Verizon dispatched a Hawaii Telcom tech to the site and restored the circuit. Hawaii 3 and Hawaii 4 returned to normal operations on November 01, 2022 at 1753 UTC.


Update#1: The Hawaii outage has been identified as a Verizon circuit outage. This affects the Hawaii MEOLUT also. A Verizon trouble ticket has been opened.

Impact: Medium - Distress alert detection/reporting may be delayed. LEOSAR distress alert detection/reporting may be delayed. GEOSAR and MEOSAR are operating nominally.
