Update #3 (Final Update):  The LUT vendor dispatched a tech to the site and the intermittent antenna issue appears to have resolved itself.  The vendor will continue to monitor Alaska 4. Alaska 4 has returned to normal operations as of November 30, 2021 at 1658Z.


Update #2: Alaska 4 is missing all passes again. The vendor has been notified.


Update #1: Alaska 4 is sending 406 data but the solution count is much lower than expected.

Details/Specifics of Change:  The Alaska 4 (AK4) LEO Ground Station located in Fairbanks, AK  has missed two consecutive passes. The maintenance vendor has reported an intermittent azimuth antenna issue.


Impact: Minor-Dual satellite tracking capability lost. Distress alert detection/reporting may be delayed.
