Details/Specifics of Change:

On October 8, 2021, GOES-17 ABI Focal Plane Module (FPM) Setpoints will be increased to 84K from 81K. This change will be made to mitigate the increased FPM temperatures seen post safe hold mode anomaly and will lower our daily peak FPM temperatures.

This activity is subject to critical weather day declaration.
