However, the scan pattern will be changed (i.e. 30 scan positions will overlap) as the swath will be reduced from 2200 km to ~200 km. 4 hours of outage are foreseen on the first day of the test. This test can have an impact for users that use processing of IASI data. [Rev. 2]: The radiometric quality of IASI L1 data is nominal. However, non-nominal geo-location and inconsistencies between the global and regional data, affecting both L1 and L2 products, are currently being observed. Investigations are on-going. [Rev. 3]: Since 22/09/2021 11:23 UTC sensing time, the quality of Metop-A global IASI L1 data is nominal again. The quality of regional IASI L1 data is expected to be recovered on 27 September 2021.
