Details/Specifics of Change:

A GOES-15 (GOES-West Back-up) North/South Station Keeping maneuver will be performed on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 1600 UTC.  If cancelled, the Maneuver will be rescheduled for a later date.  If NWS Regions have any operational concerns, please contact the NCEP SDM at (301) 683-1500 at least 6 hours prior to the maneuver time.

On August 24, 2021 the following schedule will be employed to support maneuver operations:

GOES-15 (GOES-West Back-up) North/South Maneuver Schedule begins at 1636 UTC on August 24, 2021.

1600 UTC through 1759 UTC: GOES-15 (GOES-West Back-up) Imager Product Outage

1800 UTC through 0051 UTC: GOES-15 (GOES-West Back-up) INR (Image Navigation Registration) Recovery Schedule.

0052 UTC: GOES-15 (GOES-West Back-up) Routine Imager Scan Operations Resume.
