Details/Specifics of Change: GOES-14 is serving as the on-orbit spare satellite for either GOES-16 or GOES-17, so periodic checkouts are conducted to ensure the spare is ready to assume operations when needed. GOES-14 (105W) imagery test checkout begins on August 11, 2021 for annual North-South (N/S) Maneuver and Image Navigation Registration (INR) checkout activities. ESPC Operations will NOT be deriving and distributing GOES-14 science test data; however, users with direct rebroadcast capabilities should exploit this opportunity to retest their GVAR ingest equipment. Navigation location for GOES-14 is found within WMO header TBUS09, and is located roughly at 104.5 degrees west.
