Details/Specifics of Change:

The July 14, 2021 installation of NDE release 2.0.26 is planned to occur during back orbits. NDE will not be ingesting, processing or distributing data during installation. No data loss is expected, but there will be a possible backlog of processing when installation is complete.

New/Update products included in this release are:

Blended-Hydro Products in NDE:

Blended Hydro product is going to be migrated to NDE. This change will be transparent to the users in terms of PDA subscription. The version number in the filename will be changed as noted below. The Blended Hydro product will continue generating blended total precipitable water (bTPW) and blended rain rate(bRR) products on NDE.

The version number of the blended hydro products will be changed to v01r1 from v01r0.

The following file names of the Blended Hydro products will be changed as a result of updated version numbers:

The HEAP version 3.0 includes the validated Carbon Dioxide retrievals and the correction of missing cloud data (Cloud Height and Cloud Fraction) that is generated by the JPSS Risk Reduction algorithm using the VIIRS data which is then computed for the CrIS footprint and inserted in the N20 HEAP BUFR data (NUCAPS-ALL-HR_v2r0_j01_XXXXXXXXXX) products.
