Length of Outage: 10 minutes. The solar calibration crosses the 5 minute boundary therefore there will be no mode 4 and a full 10 minute outage of all ABI products.

Details/Specifics of Change:

On June 22, 2021, GOES-16 ABI 10-minute Flex Mode (mode 6) will be replaced with a solar calibration which will occur between 1100-1110Z. There will be a full 10 minute outage of all ABI products. ABI 10-minutes Flex Mode (mode 6) will resume at 1110Z. The next Full Disk scan will populate at 1110Z.
