Details/Specifics of Change: On June 12, 2021 at 01:10:00Z, S-NPP will perform a 0.2 second propulsive Risk Mitigation Maneuver (RMM) to provide collision avoidance. The Backup time is 07:56:00Z.

 

The following observatory systems will be affected on June 12, 2021.

 

Primary: 00:44:00z - 02:51:04z or as needed Backup: 07:30:00z - 09:37:04z

CERES in Contam-Safe mode, science data will not be available

 

Primary: 00:54:00z - 01:21:06z or as needed Backup: 07:40:00z – 08:07:06z

OMPS in Decon mode, Science data will not be available

 

Primary: 00:59:00z - 01:22:05z or as needed Backup: 07:45:00z - 08:08:05z

HRD will be off, data for direct broadcast users will be unavailable

 

Primary: 01:04:00z - 01:17:04z or as needed Backup: 07:50:00z - 08:03:04z

S-NPP pointing off-nadir, collected data during that time period may be impacted and not disseminated

 

From 01:04:00z- 01:17:04z - ATMS data may be perturbed due to maneuver-induced spacecraft vibrations
