Details/Specifics of Change:

On Tuesday, June 15, 2021 a spacecraft maintenance maneuver will be performed on GOES-16. From 1200 -1300 UTC, ABI will experience a data outage and from 1155 - 1305 UTC SUVI, EXIS, and GLM will experience an outage. After the maneuver, all instruments and products will resume nominal production and distribution.

All ABI channels may experience navigation and product quality degradation for a period of time up to 30 minutes due to the Kalman filter reset.

Schedule of Outages on June 15, 2021:

11:55 UTC - SUVI, EXIS, and GLM data outages begin

12:00 UTC – ABI data outage begins

13:00 UTC – ABI mode 6 resumes

13:05 UTC - SUVI, EXIS, and GLM resume nominal operations
