Update #3: The secondary issue has been identified and corrected. PDA and NDE processing has returned to nominal. This secondary issue has been corrected at 2212Z and was found to be a byproduct of the original issue. Impact time will be assessed consecutively with the original issue for a total of 7 hours and 28 minutes. Due to the substantial backlog of files/data that have accumulated in the message queues to this point, additional measures to relieve those queues of stale data may be necessary after the active transactions have completed.


Update #2: A secondary issue occurred at ~1730Z that is disrupting both product Ingest and Dissemination. The PDA Support team is investigating this new issue and updates will be provided as new status becomes available.


Update #1: The issue was found to be associated with a password encryption anomaly that was corrected at ~1702Z. The PDA Support team continues to monitor the environment closely. The length of the outage was ~138 minutes.
