Details/Specifics of change: On December 7, 2019, S-NPP will
perform a spacecraft attitude maneuver for the VIIRS Lunar
Calibration, with a roll of -6.315 degrees centered at 1953Z.
Science data may be impacted while the
spacecraft is pointing off-nadir during the attitude maneuver and
the CERES instrument will not provide nominal science data as it
will be placed in a contamination safe mode. The timeline of events
for this maneuver are provided below.
The following observatory systems will be affected on December 7,
2019:
19:28:58 Z M-bM-^@M-^S 20:30:58 Z CERES will be in Contam-Safe and Standby,
science data will not be available
19:43:58 Z M-bM-^@M-^S 20:05:58 Z HRD will be off, data for direct broadcast
users will be unavailable
19:48:28 Z M-bM-^@M-^S 20:01:29 Z VIIRS encoder offset and gain will be set
for Moon observation
19:48:58 Z M-bM-^@M-^S 20:00:58 Z S-NPP will be pointing off-nadir, collected
data may be impacted and not disseminated
