Detail:	The Metop-A satellite with GOME-2 on-board is currently in drifting orbit. As a consequence there are periods during which the GOME-2 instrument will not be able to carry out its daily solar calibration measurement. The second such period will be from 31 December 2018 to 17 March 2019. During this period, the solar mean reference spectrum provided in the Metop-A GOME-2 level-1B product will be automatically replaced by a modelled solar spectrum using information on solar activity from Metop-B. Therefore, it is expected that the quality of both level-1B and level-2 products might undergo slight changes during this period, and there will be an associated risk of degraded product quality for Metop-A GOME-2 products.

Detail:	In preparation for a possible transition to mode 6 operations (i.e. Full Disk scan every 10 minutes), NOAA will perform a test of mode 6 operations for GOES-16 and GOES-17 ABI from 19-02-2019 15:00 UTC to 22-02-2019 15:00 UTC. During this timeframe, the data distributed on EUMETCast will be GOES-16 data every 30 minutes (instead of the current 15-minute frequency) and GOES-17 data every 30 minutes (as currently). The filenames will start with M-bM-^@M-^XOR_ABI-L1b-RadF-M6C02_G16_M-bM-^@M-^Y and M-bM-^@M-^XOR_ABI-L1b-RadF-M6C02_G17_M-bM-^@M-^Y instead of M-bM-^@M-^XOR_ABI-L1b-RadF-M3C02_G16_M-bM-^@M-^Y and M-bM-^@M-^XOR_ABI-L1b-RadF-M3C02_G17_M-bM-^@M-^Y. GOES-16 and GOES-17 ABI will return to the normal mode 3 operations at 15:00 UTC on 22-02-2019.M-bM-^@M-^Y
